Hello jim35,

 

There are a few things that we need to check why you can't use the Enter key when searching. I'll share them with you, and guide you on how to get started.

  • Check if it's browser-related. QuickBooks search function depends on the browser you're using.
  • Check if your keyboard is working on the other program.

Let's access your account via a private browser. Just press CTRL+SHIFT+N for Chrome. Then, try using the global search with your Enter keyboard again.

 

If the Enter key is working, you'll want to go back to your regular browser and clear your browser's cache. This process helps refresh your browser's setting. Using a different browser can be an option, too.

 

If you're still getting the same result, you'll want to open a new program (Google Chrome) and check if you can use the Enter key to search. This will help us identify if your keyboard has an issue.
