Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention, Mandamom. It's my pleasure to have this opportunity to address the issue with vendor names not appearing in your bank statement when using QuickBooks Bill Pay.
The change you've noticed, where "Bill Pay Intuit" is showing in your bank statement instead of individual vendor names, is due to a shift in our Bill Pay service. QuickBooks is no longer partnering with Melio or other ACH initiators that provide more detailed transaction descriptions.
To get to the bottom of why vendor names and your company name don't show and to explore options for adding this information, I suggest contacting our dedicated Support team. They have specialized tools and access that will allow them to investigate and provide tailored troubleshooting steps.
