Why new info is added to customers info, the program stop updating the info on estimate & erases previously info for that estimate?

Let’s perform some troubleshooting steps that can help to isolate this unexpected behavior. 

 

Login to your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser, your regular browser's cache might have caused this unexpected behavior while using QuickBooks.

 

You can follow the shortcut keys below:

 

  • Press Ctrl+ Shift + N keys on your keyboard (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl+ Shift + P keys on your keyboard (Firefox or Internet Explorer).
  • Press Control+ Option + P keys on your keyboard (Safari).

 

If it works, you’ll have to clear your browser’s cache to prevent this unexpected behavior in the product.

 

Here’s how.

 

  1. Go to the Menu: button. Then, select Settings.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Select Site settings under Privacy and Security.
  4. Choose Cookies and site data.
  5. Select See all cookies and site data.
  6. Type Intuit in the search bar to find Intuit cookies.
  7. Select Remove and then restart Google Chrome for the changes to take effect.

 

Using a different browser will also help you resolve this issue.
