Good day, rschweriner-adir. Let me share some information about how the conversion process affects your transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Some transactions like checks, invoices, and payments convert as journal entries when switching from desktop to QuickBooks Online. This will happen if the system found difficulty in recreating them.
For more details, check out this article: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. You'll find what information will convert with changes.
You can delete the journal entries and recreate the invoices as long as you have the transaction details saved in your QuickBooks Desktop. If you're using the QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can use the Batch Invoicing feature to enter them.
Otherwise, you'll need to enter the transactions one at a time. Here's an article on how to manually create and pay the invoices in QuickBooks Online: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online.
I recommend visiting this link: Account Management. These will provide links about managing your QuickBooks Online account, income, expenses, inventory, and running reports.
You can reach out to QuickBooks Community again if you need additional assistance. Simply click reply and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Have a good one.
Hi, rschweriner-adi
Hope you're doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the journal entries you had yesterday. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I'd be happy to help you at anytime.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
Thank you. I have to deal with about 300 journal entries and turn them into invoices, but at least I understand the issue now.
