Will quickbooks track individual items sold amounts? Like in a month if I sale 99 product a and 250 product b is there a way to view this without going back and counting?

I can help you track your sold items in QuickBooks Online.

We can pull up a Sales by Product/Service Detail report, then customize it to view specific products you'd like to keep track. Let me show you how it is done:

Click Reports from the navigation panel.
Locate Sales by Product/Service Detail from the report's search field.
On the report, update the report date the click Run report.
Once done, click the Customize button.
Click the Filter menu to expand the options.
Mark the Product/Service box.
Click the Product/Service drop-down then mark the products you'd like to be displayed on the report.
Click Run report.

Why does the product filter NOT include all of my products? I use a 2-letter prefix for a particular brand, and only about 80% of their items appear in the filter box. I know which ones are missing, and I can see that the filter has simply skipped over them alphabetically (ie it shows a product with GZSZ..., then GSTA, then GSTC, but skips GSTB). Any reason for this? Fix?

Let me continue to help you with the report, moe4339.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), product items can be missing in the Sales by Product/Service Detail report when the specific item doesn't have an invoice in it. The Report period is also a factor why some items are not showing. That said, I suggest reviewing the filters of the report to pull up the correct information.
