Will we ever get actual purchase orders?

There are a couple of scenarios I can think of about managing purchase orders in QuickBooks Online, @Anonymous.

If you want to print a purchase order, here are the steps how:

  1. Click +New, and then select Purchase order under the Vendors section.
  2. Tap Print at the bottom, and then choose the Print option when you're ready. Alternatively, you may select the Download button so you have a copy of your purchase orders.

  3. Pick all the preferences you wish like the color, pages, etc., and then click Print again to continue.

If you already created one, the following are the steps you can follow:

  1. Go to the Expenses menu, and then select the Vendors tab.
  2. Choose the vendor name from the list associated with the purchase order.
  3. Open the said purchase order, and then follow Steps 2-3 above.

If you wish to do this in bulk, you may perform the steps below:

  1. Tap the Expenses tab.
  2. Select all the purchase orders you want, and then click Print transactions under the Batch actions drop-down.

Also, QuickBooks Online has several reports that will help you keep track of your purchase orders. Here's how to run a report:

  1. Click the Reports menu at the left pane.
  2. From the Standard tab, go to Expense and vendors.
  3. Choose any of the following reports you wish to run or customize:
  • Open Purchase Order List- shows your open purchase orders, grouped by vendor.
  • Open Purchase Order Detail- highlights your open purchase orders, grouped by item and/or account. Includes the total, received, and balance quantities and amounts.
  • Purchases by Product/Service Detail- outlines your purchases, grouped by product or service.
  • Purchases by Vendor Detail- gives information about your purchases, grouped by vendor.

If you mean anything else, just click the Reply button so I can assist you further. I'll be looking forward to your reply. Have a good one.

This is the typical, useless, quickbooks reply. You know that you do not actually have purchase orders. Where is the custom form? It simply defaults to your invoice form.

Why are there no units of measure? Why cant I have ship to addresses for projects? Why can't I subtotal lines? Why isnt there a deposit field? I can go on, but I believe that you can see my point.

Again, your instructions on providing feedback is a useless, generic, answer. You message boards are filled with thousands of users that would agree with me. I have provided countless feedback posts without a SINGLE one being addressed. These are not rocket science requests but simple, basic, features, that should have been included at launch.

As an Intuit investor, I request a that your investor relations team reach out to me and provide an actual update.
