With the new invoice template, I am unable to go back to the invoice I am working on after I hit the print packing list. Working on Mac on Safari browser.

after hitting the back button on browser, it takes me to a new invoice. I then have to either do a search for the invoice, or go to my recent ones. Very time consuming and not efficient.

This isn't the type of experience we want you to have when going back to the invoice after printing the packing slip, @jeffb73

 

This can be caused by the browser you're using. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can sometimes improve performance, as it removes temporary files that may be causing conflicts. Begin by signing in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser. It'll help isolate the issue as it doesn’t store data in the cache.

 

The shortcut keys for opening a private window or browser for Safari: Press Command Shift N. 

 

If it works, here's how to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. You may need to refresh any open web pages for the changes to take effect. 

 

Also, please make sure to have the latest browser update installed and that the computer you're using meets the minimum system requirements recommended for QuickBooks Online.
