To clarify, are you trying to turn off the sales tax feature in QuickBooks Online? Once you start collecting sales tax on invoices, you're unable to turn it off.
To delete sales taxes on invoices, follow these steps:
- Go to the Sales tab.
- Double-click a transaction to open it.
- Under the Tax column, remove the checkmark. This will remove the sales tax on items.
- Click Save and close.
- Do the same process with all the remaining transactions.
