Bank error 109 means that your password has expired or needs to be updated with your bank’s website. Here’s how to update your password on your bank’s website and sign-in info in QuickBooks Online:

Fix banking error 109

  1. Sign in to your bank's website and update your password.
  2. Follow this link to complete the steps in product Open this link in a new window
  3. Select the bank you want to update, then select edit Image of the edit icon..
  4. Select Edit account details.
  5. Enter your updated login info in the Login and Password fields.
  6. Select Save and connect.

  3. Go to Transactions.
  4. Select the New transaction ▼ dropdown and choose Manage connections.
  5. For the bank account you want to update, select the Vertical ellipses icon.icon and choose Edit account details.
  6. Update your password.
  7. When you're done, select Save and connect.
