Learn how to enter your PIN for New York Department of Taxation and Finance for electronic payment services in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
PrompTax is the New York State Department of Taxation's electronic filing and payment program that's mandatory for certain businesses. The NY Tax Department notifies you by mail if you're required to participate.

If you would like to enter your PIN in your payroll account:
- Obtain your 6-digit access PIN from the NYS Department of Taxation.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
- Select Payroll then choose Overview.
- Select the verification item on your To Do List and enter the PIN.
