Bank of America (BofA) user setup for Online Business Suite

Here’s a quick guide to setting up your Bank of America (BofA) user for Online Business Suite.

Sign up process

1. Go to https://www.bankofamerica.com/smallbusiness/.

   

2. Select the Small Business tab.
3. Select Payroll Services.
4. Select the needed payroll product.

   

5. Select Sign up now. That will launch a Bank of America sign in widget.

   

6. Log in with your Bank of America credentials.

   

7. For IFSP,  you'll need to fill out the following form. Once filled out, an IFSP setup agent will call you back to set up the account.

   

Add a new user to your Online Business Suite

1. Select Business Services then Add new users.
2. Select Add new user.
3. Enter details about the user then select Ok.
4. In the left pane, select Account & Services. (Or, select the Continue to Accounts & Services button.)
5. Select which services the user will have access to. For payroll-only users, be sure to toggle Payroll Services to On.
   Important: Users must have View Only access to at least 1 account under the Account options to allow the sub-user to manage Payroll. Presumably, this will be the funding account for Payroll. The sub-user will not be able to view any accounts for which access is toggled Off.

Edit a user in your Online Business Suite

1. Select Business Services then Edit/Delete user.
2. To the right of the user, select View/Edit.
3. In the left pane, select Account & Services. (Or, select the Continue to Accounts & Services button.)
4. Select which services the user will have access to. For payroll-only users, be sure to toggle Payroll Services to On.
   Important: Users must have View Only access to at least 1 account under the Account options to allow the sub-user to manage Payroll. Presumably, this will be the funding account for Payroll. The sub-user will not be able to view any accounts for which access is toggled Off.

To access Intuit payroll

1. Sign in to your Online Business Suite.
2. Go to the Business Services tab.
3. Select Run Payroll on the right.
