I'm going to sit at a table for a career day at local HS where my daughter goes, and wondered if anyone had done this or if QB had some slides that worked for them. I was going to have a one page handout and business cards, but additional ideas welcome. I wont' be actually standing up and presenting anything so interaction is more like a trade show very brief.
I prefer to prepare a TV screen (> 32 inch) and playing some contents from youtube about how to setup a business and how QuickBooks help to manage the startup. I am not sure a mere HS student will read anything on paper and consulting any specific issue on the spot.
To piggyback off of the suggestion from @plung, Intuit has a YouTube channel that I recommend checking out. There are hundreds of videos on that page, including tutorials, tips, and interviews. You can access this page at the following link: QuickBooks YouTube.
Also, I wanted to mention that I think it's great you're doing this for these students. I wish I had a stronger exposure to accounting while in high school. Plus, it's good for them to be made aware of tools, like QuickBooks, which can help them on their journey to success.
I hope you find the content you're looking for. If I can ever be of assistance, please let me know. Cheering you to a wonderful career day presentation!
PS: My father was in the funeral industry, which made for some unique career days. However, that's a story for another day.
