Hey Community friends! I hope you all are well. I wanted to step out of the box a little bit today and share a positive post that I hope will motivate you to do the same. Let's talk about what we love most about our jobs! After all, if you "do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life." My official title is Digital Engagement Specialist and here are some reasons I enjoy doing what I do:
Helping others This is probably the most satisfying part and definitely grants a sense of purpose. When I'm not working in the Business Discussion area of the Community, I spend time in the Q&A space to answer technical questions. I love receiving positive feedback from a customer I've spoken to. Assisting in this space is really important as many businesses rely heavily on QuickBooks to manage their businesses. Just a simple, "Thanks Morgan! That really helped." lets me know I've done my job.
Working with people from all over the country Another favorite aspect of mine regarding my job is that I get to work with individuals from all over the country. This applies to customers I interact with as well as my coworkers. I really enjoy learning about the way of life in different areas across the map. It's fun to know that we're all so different and come from a variety of cultures and walks of life. But at the same time we can all, customers and coworkers alike, unite on one platform here in the Community.
Providing nontraditional support Over the years, many people have become accustomed to receiving assistance via telephone conversation. As technology advances, there are many other options to receive the help you need. Some of these nontraditional avenues include chat messaging, social media support, and forums like you've already found right here. I like being part of a more modern way to communicate with customers.
