2020 2nd quarter 941 form

Hi!  I use quickbooks 2018 desktop version and have just did my software update and I am not able to print my 941 form for mailing.  All the information is on the form, it just has the watermark that says the form is not final.  Is there something that I need to do?

If it is the software, when will this issue be corrected.  It is currently mid-July and the form needs to be filed by the end of the month.

Thank you in advance for your help.

2020 2nd quarter 941 form

Hello, jackie4kids.

Thanks for joining the QuickBooks Community, I have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try, follow along below:

Let's go ahead and make sure that your payroll gets updated. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Employees menu, then select Get Payroll Updates.
  2. Put a check in the Download Entire Update checkbox.
  3. Select Download Latest Update.
  4. A window appears when the download is complete.

Once done, try to print the tax forms again.

  1. Find Employees, then Payroll Tax Forms & W-2s, then Process Payroll Forms.
  2. In the Payroll Center, select File Forms tab.
  3. Select the form you need to file from the list.
  4. Select File Form.
  5. Select the form filing period and click OK.
  6. Review the forms and select Check For Errors. If needed, correct any errors.
  7. Select Submit Form button.
  8. Select E-File button and follow the on screen instructions to submit the form.

Thank you for the quick response.  I finally have a form that I can file.  I believe what work was restarting my computer and the software.
