Join nowI currently use QuickBooks Mac 2020. It has been updated to the latest version, so far as I can tell. (It updates automatically.) I need to print 3-part 1099NEC forms, but it only prints 2-part forms. All the information I can find online appears to be for Windows Quickbooks Desktop. The Help screen does not have an Update tab, so there is nowhere to choose Critical Updates.
How do I print 3-part 1099NEC on Quickbook for Mac?
I can share some information about printing 1099-NEC forms 3 to a page as required this year, @rpatters5.
QuickBooks Desktop for Mac will make sure that you can process and print the 3-part 1099NEC Forms. For QuickBooks Mac 2020, our Product Engineering team is still working on an update that can print the form.
You can set your QuickBooks Desktop to update automatically. It'll automatically download updates when they're available.
Just follow the steps below:
You can also download specific updates directly from our website, for more information refer to this article: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.

Thank you for this reply. As a reminder, this is Quickbooks Desktop for Mac. The Help menu does not have an option called Update Quickbooks Desktop. The only option I have found is under the Quickbooks menu. It checks and reports that I am on the latest version. There are not further options beneath it.
As a reminder, this is Quickbooks Desktop for Mac. It does not have an option in the Help menu called Update Quickbooks Desktop. The only menu option for updates is under the Quickbooks menu. Selecting that menu item offers no further options. It simply checks and reports that my version of Quickbooks is up to date.
