Software & Apps $3,000 on one line?
Or will it be itemized for each entry that you marked as an expense in the Software & Apps category like
Google Ads $500
Misc Ads $600
etc...
Have you found it easier to use the import tool or just enter expenses in manually?
2. Does it override expenses I've already entered?
The import process is a great way of sending your data from QBSE to TurboTax, jc007.
The feature also saves time and prevents data entry errors as well.
With regards to your question, it depends on the type of expenses if they will be itemized or not. I'd also like to add that there are certain expenses and information that does not import to TurboTax. This includes interest paid, home office expenses, vehicle loan interest, healthcare expenses, among others.
Here's an article about this for more details: Why Some Deductions Don't Automatically Export to TurboTax Self-Employed
It would be best to reach out to TurboTax Community for more details about what happens to your data after successfully importing it. Here's the link: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/home/misc/03/en-us.
Allow me to share a few more articles in case you might need them while working in QBSE:

Yes but are the expenses itemized or not?
That's a question that Quickbooks should know and not TurboTax.... You didn't answer anything at all and just copied and pasted a generic answer which does not answer my question!
You didn't really answer my questions. I guess I'll wait till actual users chime in. Thanks.
You didn't answer my question at all.
I didn't ask if things like healthcare expenses will import to turbotax or not...
That was not my question at all. Pls re-read my question instead of copying and pasting a generic answer that doesn't answer my question!
I will wait to hear answers from actual users as those will probably more helpful than the response I just got. No offense but you literally didn't answer any of my questions.
It's our pleasure to help, jc007.
