Assisted payroll did not pay my taxes

Per Intuit, there is no need to contact support in the way @JoesemM suggests.

When you have Assisted Payroll, Intuit is responsible for paying your taxes, and if they don't get around to it then also for any penalties and late fees (which as a payroll processor they're good at getting out of.)

As your Reporting Agent, Intuit should receive a copy of all of the tax notices you get, but they also request that you forward them to Intuit via email.

Since you're using QuickBooks Assisted Payroll, I'd highly suggest contacting our Assisted Payroll Support Team. They can validate the notice you've received and can pull up your account in a secure environment to assist you in this matter to get this straightened out.

Here are the steps to contact support:

  1. Click Help at the top menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. In the Have a Question? window, enter a topic.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Hit the Stat Messaging button.

You can also this link to chat with our payroll agents instead: Assisted Payroll Subscribers

Please take note our operating hours for chat support depend on the version of QuickBooks that you're using. Please see this article for more details: Support hours and types.

Please know that you can always get back to this post if you have any other questions. I'm always here to help. Take good care, @metalcraft.
