I Transfer funds from one bank account to a couple of other bank accounts weekly for the same amount. All accounts are in QuickBooks.
I want to automate these transactions.
I use QuickBooks Pro 2016 Desktop
I transfer Funds by going to Banking -> Transfer Funds
Thanks
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can automatically record the transfers by using Write Cheques. Put the outgoing bank account in the Bank Account on the top left; put the receiving bank account(s) in the Account in the Expenses tab and the amount. Then right click on a blank part of the window, choose Memorise Cheque, tick Automate Transaction Entry and enter the other details.

If you have regular, predictable transfers in the real world, then automate your transfers in QB to mirror that, Memorize the transfers and set them up to auto-enter on a schedule that mirrors what will actually happen.
Memorize a transfer by opening the transfer form, then fill it out, and then choose Memorize from the Edit menu.
Thank you very much.
I was looking for a memorize transaction in the menu bar of the transfer window.
Perhaps QuickBooks could add that to the window menu header.

Use Ctl T or Lists menu > Memorized Transactions List.
While this is open, use View menu > Add this to the leftside Shortcuts bar or to the top Icon bar, if you use it at the top and not at the side. It won't be in the Menu; it's your Shortcut. This is how you define your own Shortcuts to meet your own requirements.
