Hello there, aestervig.
If you haven't completed the sales tax set up in QuickBooks Online, you'll need to finish the process so you can access the Sales tax section in your account.

I have not been able to access the sales tax center in ANY of my QBO client companies since yesterday. I get either a completely blank screen or a message in red stating there was an application error. I contacted support via chat...tried multiple fixes and nothing has worked. I've cleared the cache & cookies, I've tried different browsers, I've restarted my computer...and finally even tried a different computer. This is VERY frustrating and an incredible waste of time on the last two days of the month.
Thank you for joining the thread. I'll take care of this concern for you about the Sales Tax Center in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

This issue still isn't fixed. I've had a case in for several weeks now and I just keep being told "they're working on it". My client is having to manually calculate and add sales tax! I'd appreciate a followup!
Thank you for letting us know that your client is doing the manual calculation when adding sales tax, Shel2.
Being unable to access sales tax in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is still tagged as an ongoing issue. We are unable to provide a specific time frame as to when this will be fixed.
