Can you switch back to the old Sales Tax program that worked?

I wish I could make it better, @ebunnyz.

As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way of switch back to the old sales tax setting after migrating to the new automated sales tax center. As we've rolled out the automated sales tax center to all new accounts, all existing users will also now be utilizing the new settings.

In the same manner, here's an article you can read to learn more about the nature of the new sales tax center: Set up and use automated sales tax in QuickBooks Online.

On top of that, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Sales Tax for QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other questions, please let me know by leaving any comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.

Can you switch back to the old Sales Tax program that worked?

I know how it is supposed to work, but it doesn't.  The Tax Center is showing all but two of my previous monthly Sales Tax payments are past due and they are not.  I cannot see the Monthly Sales Tax reports with out generating a report.  I cannot post my February Sales Tax Payment for March 2 because I cannot get to the report.  I used the old Sales Tax setting for years with no issues.  The new one is pitiful and I should be able to switch back to sanity.  Quickbooks is wasting my time.  You need ti fix this!

I hear you on this, ebunnyz.

It would be my pleasure to help you generate the data, so you can post the tax payment. Since you're unable to see the monthly sales tax reports, we can do some basic troubleshooting to rule out any browser-related issue.

Let's begin by opening an incognito or private browser. This mode will not save your browsing history. You can use the keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Next, go to Taxes > Sales tax and click Reports beside the Sales tax settings link. If you're able to generate the data, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Please make sure to restart your browser afterwards. As an alternate solution, try using a different supported browser.

I'm also adding these articles for reference:

Please keep me updated on how it goes after trying out the steps above. I'm determined to get this fixed for you. Thanks.

Quickbooks Online will not load in Chrome Incognito or Microsoft Edge.  Still have the same issues in Chrome - No reports and no way to post Sales Tax payments.  Prior months are also still flagged as Past Due in error and the amounts are wrong.  It doesn't work and needs to be fixed or switched back to the old version.  I did this month by hand to get by so maybe you can get it right by the end of March.  I'm done for tonight and will be away for a few days, so will check back when I return.  Very unhappy!
