Join nowMy partner and I share the cost of a car lease but it's under his name. I use the car for personal and business use. Can I still file the business part of expenses with the lease under his name even though we share the cost? Thank you!

You can deduct expenses for the business use of a vehicle only if he is your spouse. You can deduct the expense if he drives you somewhere for business but he would need to report the cost as income.
