Changing the default bank account

We have opened a new bank account, and I'm having trouble getting my payroll tax payments withdrawn from the new account.  I enabled the new account for e-payments and selected it when paying the taxes, but the money was still withdrawn from my old account.

I appreciate the initial steps you’ve taken to change the bank account.


Though, enabling and selecting the new account is not enough process to successfully change the bank account. There are additional steps that need to be followed to complete the changes.


Moreover, there are two separate processes to update the bank account for e-payments. The first one is for the federal e-payments, while the second one is for the state.
