We need to update our state SUI rate in quick books online.  Cant do it.  We need a contact number for a customer service representative.

We've recently updated our support experience and the best way to reach our support team is to  sign in to your account, select the Help icon on the top right, and then Contact Us at the bottom of the panel. Hope this helps!

You can locate the contact number for QuickBooks Online Enhanced Payroll Phone Support with the following steps:

 

  • Visit the following link: QuickBooks Support.
  • Choose options for the prompts.
  • Click Get Phone Number.

Here is what happens when I click on Contact us. It goes to a new page but immediately another page comes and says Which QuickBooks do you need help with? Click on QBO and it says login to your account. I already am logged in but I go through the process again and it takes me to the home page. Obviously a loop to keep people from getting through. This is frustrating! I got to the Canadian site and they seem to want to care for their clients. Why not the USA? 

 

Here is my issue: I live in Zambia. I am an American and my organization is American. So I want to use QBO and connect to my American accounts. Issues there but most have been resolved. But PayPal won't connect and gives an error message saying "That application is not supported in your country" or something to that effect. I called PayPal and was told it needed to be done from the US. My office in the US is getting the same message. PayPal - to whom I have customer service access! - said there is no blocking showing on their end. So, is it QuickBooks that has blocked us from connecting PayPal?

You'll get this message if you're subscribed to QuickBooks Online Zambia and your PayPal app is for US. 

 

Right now, QBO supports PayPal app for QBO subscribers in United States, United Kingdom, Canada, India, Australia, and France.

 

Since your using PayPal app for US, I recommend signing up for QBO US. This way, you'll be able to connect your app with QuickBooks and contact our US Support Team.

 

You can also test drive QuickBooks Online through here: https://qbo.intuit.com/redir/testdrive to contact our support team in United States.

 

If you need further assistance syncing your PayPal account with QuickBoks, just let me know and I'll bet back to you.

I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Technical Team so they can look up your account. This way, they'll be able to verify the charge you've received on a secured environment.

 

You can also view your subscription pricing details on your account. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the right top.
  2. Under Your Company, choose Account and Settings.
  3. Select Billing & Subscription from the left menu.
  4. Click View payment history.
  5. Filter by Event or Date Range.

I'm here with you today so you'll be able to change your password and open your QuickBooks Desktop Pro successfully.

 

If you're unable to open your QuickBooks because of an invalid password, you can simply reset it. If you're an admin and want to reset your admin password because you don't remember it, you may need to confirm some information for security reasons. Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. At the login window, click the I forgot my password link.
  3. Fill out the information on the form. 
  4. Select OK. If the info you entered is correct, you’ll be emailed a code you'll need to enter in QuickBooks at your registered email address (this is your “primary email” listed in CAMPS).
  5. QuickBooks will then guide you through creating a new admin password.

If it doesn't work, you have to double-check the information you've entered. Check for any typos and confirm the info matches with what's in CAMPS. If you got an error or still need help resetting your password, try the Automated Password Reset tool.

 

However, if you're not an admin user and need to reset/change the your password, your QuickBooks admin can reset your password for you. Contact your admin and have them follow these steps.

  1. Sign in as the admin user.
  2. Go to Company, select Set Up Users and Passwords. Then select Set Up Users.
  3. If prompted, enter the admin password again.
  4. In the User List, select the user that needs to change their password. Then select Edit User.
  5. Enter a new password.
  6. Select Next twice, then select Finish.

My account says I am not linked to a quick books

Hi there, CharlesAllStar.

 

One of the reasons QuickBooks won't load is if you selected the QuickBooks Desktop icon multiple times.

 

Since the program won't open after you've updated Windows 10, let's run Quick Fix my Program from the QuickBooks Tools Hub to fix the issue.

 

Download and install the QuickBooks Tools Hub first, follow the steps below.

 

1. Close your QBDT.

2. Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub file. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it. Like, your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop.

3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install and agree to the terms and conditions.

5. Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub when the install finish.

 

After that, from the tools Hub, run the Quick Fix my Program.

 

Here's how:

 

1. From the QuickBooks Tools Hub, select Program Problems.

2. Choose Quick Fix my Program.

3. Start using QuIckBooks Desktop again and open your data file.

You can update your payment information through the CAMPS page, 7033958741.

 

I've got the steps on how to do it:

 

  1. Sign in to camps.intuit.com.
  2. Enter your Intuit Account login.
  3. Find your app or subscription in the Products & Services list.
  4. Select Details.
  5. In the Billing Information section, select Edit.
  6. Update your information.
  7. Select Save and Close.

 

On the other hand, you can go to our Help articles page if you need help with some How do I questions.

 

There you have it. I'm jut clicks away if you have additional concerns.

When I purchased my product one big selling point was US based customer service via phone.  Now I can't call?????????????????  Sent an email over 2 hours ago for a return phone call (that was supposed to happen in 10 minutes)  nothing yet.  Tried to use the chat feature (yesterday and today) but realized they were creating a bigger problem for me because they were unable to understand the issue.  So my problem is not solved, chat was not helpful (they did give me a number to call but the number they gave me was bogus) and my work day is coming to a close. Very irritating.

Hi Dawn, would love to hear a bit more about your experience using Quickbooks Online in Zambia - is this a subscription for a QBO account denominated in ZMW or not?

 

I am UK based but have connections to Zambia and want to establish what solutions there are so that I can recommend them to organisations that need them - I am not set up in Zambia but want to understand the challenges and whether or not organisations have moved on from desktop based QB.
