The ability to format or layout the sales order template isn't available, Dixon. I encourage you to submit feedback to our Product Development Team, so they may consider incorporating your suggestion in forthcoming updates. 

Here's how you can send feedback:

1. Open your QuickBooks Online Account.
2. Go to the Gear icon.
3. Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
4. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
5. Select Next to submit.
