Currently, we haven’t received any notifications related to 941 taxes not being calculated correctly, Ellen.
There are few things I suggest for you to check.
First, confirm the pay periods and paycheck dates. You can do this by going to the Payroll section and ensure they align with your intended schedule.
Then, verify the paycheck from the Employees tab. Take a close look at the paycheck date alongside the pay period range. The paycheck date determines when the wages are reported for tax calculation purposes, so it’s important to ensure this is correct.
Lastly, check your 941 report and review the wages and taxes listed in the report to confirm whether the system is including paychecks in the correct quarter. If you spot an error with the paycheck date, you may need to adjust those specific paychecks to ensure they report correctly.
