The Tax Checklist in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) generally becomes available in mid-January, coinciding with the official start of the IRS filing season.
Once the feature is live, you’ll likely see a notification banner on your dashboard. You can also find it manually by following these steps:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
- Select Home and click the Tax Checklist link next to the Profile icon.
- Click a task on the list. This takes you to the task so you can complete your data review.
- Finish the tasks on the tax checklist.
