Enrollment in electronic filing- didn't sign up

I received an email that stated, "QuickBooks Online Payroll has completed your enrollment in the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) and federal electronic filing."  I did not sign up for this and not sure why I would receive this?

To further check why you're receiving this email, I suggest reaching out directly to our Customer Support. They have the tools to verify where this email notification is coming from. 


You can arrange a callback to talk to our support. You can do it by going to the Help icon at the top right of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Follow the steps below: 


  1. Go to the Help icon to connect to a live support agent. 
  2. Click on the Contact Us button and provide some details about this concern.
  3. After adding some insight, tick on the Let's talk button. 
  4. Lastly, select the Get a callback button to arrange a call from them.
