Hi, not seeing automated bank deposits that I categorize as Sales in my Main Sales dashboard—from PayPal, Amazon, or my website. Should I be recording these differently?

Hi there, ksenia-k-voropae.

It's possible that the Date filter in your Dashboard does not include the transactions date of the missing transactions. Click the drop-down list in the upper-right hand corner of the Sales section and select the right date.

Then, check if you can already see the transactions. Please let me know if you have other questions.

Hmm, the transactions are not even showing up in the Sales section. But they are recorded in the Sales Account, with March dates, and Transaction type as Deposit, in the Transaction Report. Should I be recording them in a different way?

Hi there,  ksenia-k-voropae.

The main sales dashboard page will only show the sales transactions that are manually created in QuickBooks.

In your case, if you use the Connect to Paypal app, your sales transactions will be imported as sales receipts or deposits. They won't be recorded in the main sales page unless you manually enter them as sales receipts. However, you don't need to do this anymore since you already categorized them and they show up in your sales account. Thus, they'll show up on your sales and other business reports.
