The tax period date in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is determined by the month in which you started your business and the month you set up your account.
Please note that the option to change the tax period date is currently unavailable in QBO. In the meantime, we encourage you to share your feedback with us. Your input will help our product developers consider including this feature in a future update.
- Click on the Feedback option.
- Type in your comments or product suggestions.
- Hit the Next button to submit feedback.
