Hello Katherine1996,

We cannot directly change the Gross Sales in the Sales Tax Center. We'll need to go back to each sales transaction and ensure that you have amounts. Once you've edit the transactions, this would reflect in the Sales Tax Center.

Aside from that tedious process, we can also do adjustments upon paying the sales tax. Based on your screenshot, you're still using the old Sales Tax Center interface. Here's how to do it:

  1. In the Sales Tax Center page, highlight the sales tax you want to pay and click the Record Tax Payment button.
  2. In the Record Sales Tax Payment window, mark the Make Adjustment box next to the Tax Payment field.
  3. In the Adjustment field, enter the amount, reason, and the account for the adjustments.
Positive to increase the amount, while add negative to decrease it.
  4. Click Record Tax Payment.

You can also use this reference if you move to the new Sales Tax Center: Create or delete a sales tax adjustment.

Meanwhile, the changes on the amounts depends on the transactions you entered in QuickBooks Online. Make sure you they have the correct dates because this will affect the monthly balances or amounts in the Sales Tax Center.

We'll be right here if you have more queries about the process. Have a great day!
