How can QB Online know whether an ecommerce sales transaction should be taxed?

My business is online retail selling worldwide, and payment comes thru Paypal (individual sales) and Amazon Payments and Stripe c/card processors (a total for each day).  QB Online picks up the amounts thru the Banking Update, but doesn't know how much sales tax is included (if any).   My web site software (Shopify) gives me the total sales tax figure for any time period, but QB does not have that info.  How do I get the sales tax info into QB Online?

Thanks for any insight!

until such time as QB gets a sales tax included option, you have to enter the sales transaction (summary or detail) manually and enter the amount subject to sales tax as the retail sales amount, that allows QB to calculate the sales tax due.
Then you download and match transactions.

Or get the ecommerce application to provide a download that splits it out, doubtful that is possible but who knows
