Hi there, I want to be able to split the sales by product in the month on month view. How do I do this?

Let me help you pull up sales by product report in the month on month view. You can customize the report to show the specific statement for your sales by product in a month by month. Here's how:

Once done customizing the report, you can memorize it to save the modified setting in your QuickBooks Online account.

Thanks for the reply. I am not looking for only the sales by product by month. I want to be able to have my Profit and Loss report month on month in full but for income show the split by product. Is this possible?

For now, running the Profit and Loss by Month report that shows the income split by-product isn't possible. You can run a separate report for your P&L and Transaction List with Splits. Then export both reports to excel so you can consolidate them to one report. Let me walk you through the steps.

Once done, export both report by clicking the Export icon beside the printer and Gear icon.
