How do you switch from automated to manual sales tax collection?

I've been trying to communicate by chat for over 2 hours and on the phone it says that the only option for help is by chat. I changed from QB Desktop to QBO, and the taxes I was handling are not the same, I want to go back to manually enter the taxes, since the automated one is not working for me. I already looked in the previous answers and none of them help me to go back to the manual form, I hope you can help me now.

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Choose the Sales Tax tab.
  3. Select the Sales Tax Settings on the upper right of the screen.
  4. From the Edit Settings window, click the Turn off sales tax button.
  5. Click Yes to complete the process.
