how do you turn off automated sales tax calculation?

If you have accidentally enabled automated sales tax but do not charge sales tax, you can turn it off in the Sales tax settings.
 

Here's how:
 

1. Open your QuickBooks.
2. Go to My Apps in the left corner of your screen.
3. Navigate to Sales Tax, then Sales Tax Settings.
4. Click Turn off sales tax in the upper right corner of your screen.
5. Finally, click Turn off to confirm.
