If you have accidentally enabled automated sales tax but do not charge sales tax, you can turn it off in the Sales tax settings.
Here's how:
- Open your QuickBooks.
- Go to My Apps in the left corner of your screen.
- Navigate to Sales Tax, then Sales Tax Settings.
- Click Turn off sales tax in the upper right corner of your screen.

- Finally, click Turn off to confirm.
