I erroneously changed to QBs new sales tax format and it eliminated the local tax jurisdiction information. How do I go back to the old sales tax format?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, vickiprice,

I'm here to provide some information about the Sales Tax set up in QuickBooks Online.

If you'd want to switch back to manual sales tax, then you can revert it on your own, here's how:

  1. Click Taxes in the left navigation menu.
  2. Choose Sales tax settings at the top right.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, you'll see "Want to temporarily switch to the old tax center? Switch here." Click the here.

However, if you have a brand new QuickBooks account with Automated Sales Tax already enabled, you won't be able to see this option.

To know more about Automated Sales tax, you can check this article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Taxes/How-do-I-turn-off-automated-sales-tax-I-unchecked-taxa....
