The second approach would be to try logging in using private browsing. This method is used to block any form of cookies, history or data.
Google Chrome:Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: Command + Shift + N
When using the private browser and it works, for extra measure clear the cache and cookies to remove corrupt data. Depending on the browser you use, follow this link to clear them.
