Irs letter

IRS form 941 not filed, even though intuit claims it was filed. How do I get intuit to resolve this.

One of the possible reasons of this concern is that your registered EIN in the IRS and Intuit Online Payroll is not matched.

 

Let's verify if your registered EIN in the IRS matches with Intuit Online Payroll.

 

Here's how to locate your EIN in Intuit Online Payroll:

  1. Go to the Setup tab.
  2. Under Payroll and Services, click Federal Taxes.
  3. EIN is located in the Federal Tax Setup section.

Then, you can verify the EIN that is registered in the IRS from the notice they've sent to you.

 

I'd also suggest contacting our Payroll Specialist. They can further help you in resolving your 941 filing concern. Also, they have the tools that can verify the cause of this issue.

Every other form has been accepted by the irs. I don’t think it’s an Ein, which is correct, issue. By the way the chat issue has not worked for me. Very disappointing.
