Welcome to the Community, @HWC. I'm here to help ensure you're able to manually enter the sales tax on each receipt.
There are times that the browser cache gets full of outdated files and may cause small problems. Let's use a private or incognito window to confirm a browser-related issue. Then, perform troubleshooting steps on your main browser to fix it.
Here's how:
- On your Google Chrome browser, press these keys together CTRL+Shift+N.
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Check to see if you can enter the sales tax manually.
If that works, go back to the main browser and follow the steps to clear its cache. If it's still doing the same thing, try using another supported, up-to-date browser.
