I successfully import a PayPal IIF file into Desktop Pro 2018 but there is no indication of the sales tax the customer paid and the sales tax liability I incurred. I have created tax items of "Sales Tax" and "PayPal Sales Tax" hoping that the import would map to them but without success. Ideas?

The indication on the payment will not show since you've mapped two different types of list. When we say Paypal Sales Tax, it refers to the account. On the other hand, Sales Tax is the item you've created.
The mapping of the list has to be the same.
For example: item to item
account to account
This way, your customer's payment and the liability you incurred will show.
OK, I'm heartened to know that it's just in the way I set it up. So I have a "Sales Tax Payable" account that is working with all my non-PayPal transactions. What do I specifically need to do to capture those sales tax payments in my PayPal IIF download? Do I need to call and have someone walk me through it step-by-step? I just can't figure it out.
