QB Pro 2019 Desktop w Payroll Enhanced - where to change the bank account used for IRS payment

Cannot find the place where to put in the new bank account information.

Please advise.

Tried to get this information yesterday from chat support, but gave up after 90 minutes of back and forth about QB online, and a poor phone connection.

QB Pro 2019 Desktop w Payroll Enhanced - where to change the bank account used for IRS payment

You're in the right place, @wvmaster.

Here are the steps you can perform to change the bank account information used for IRS payment:

  1. Go to the Employees tab, then Payroll Center.
  2. From the Payroll Center, click the Pay Liabilities tab.
  3. Then, in the Other Activities list, select Change Payment Method to open the QuickBooks Payroll Setupchnagebank.JPG
  4. Tick Continue.
  5. Choose the Bank Account you want to use. Then, hit Edit.
  6. Input the Account Number and Routing Number.  Then, Finish.
  7. Tick the Bank Account you do not want to use. Then select Edit.
  8. Make sure that the Account Number and Routing Number fields are blank. Then select Finish.
  9. Click Finish Later.

For more info about the process, please see this article: Change the bank account you use to make e-payment for tax liabilities.

Also, QuickBooks has several Excel-based payroll reports you can generate to view your business and employee information. To get started, head to the Excel-based payroll reports page at this link.

Let me know how this goes and leave a response below if you need further assistance in updating the bank information for IRS payments. I'm always here to help. Have a good one.
