Quarterly Tax Payments

Trying to be as clear as possible here.

My wife & I file jointly.
She is the primary on our joint filings and has w-2 income from her job.
I am self employed and use quickbooks self employed to manage my finances.

When using quickbooks self employed and the EFTPS system to pay MY quarterly taxes should I:

Use her ssn as she is the primary on the account?
Or do I use my ssn as I am the one using the quickbooks self employed?

I want to say I use hers no matter what as she is the primary when we file jointly. But I want to make sure.

Thank you for your time.

Quarterly Tax Payments

Thanks for the details, brittsling144.

You'll have to use your SSN as it's your name that was entered on the QuickBooks Self-Employed account. That being said, your wife has to file the W-2 directly to the IRS.

I've also added these references as your guide in filing the forms:

That should do it! Let me know if there's anything that I can help. Keep safe!
