Quarterly Tax Payments

Trying to be as clear as possible here.

My wife & I file jointly.
She is the primary on our joint filings and has w-2 income from her job.
I am self employed and use quickbooks self employed to manage my finances.

When using quickbooks self employed and the EFTPS system to pay MY quarterly taxes should I:

Use her ssn as she is the primary on the account?
Or do I use my ssn as I am the one using the quickbooks self employed?

I want to say I use hers no matter what as she is the primary when we file jointly. But I want to make sure.

Thanks for the details, brittsling144.

 

You'll have to use your SSN as it's your name that was entered on the QuickBooks Self-Employed account. That being said, your wife has to file the W-2 directly to the IRS.
