I've got the steps on how to create a new sales tax item and then switch it back later to your preferred sales tax.
Let's start by adding a sales tax item in your Company Preferences.
Click the Edit menu and then select Preferences.
Go to Sales Tax on the right pane of the Preferences window.
Select Company Preferences.
Click the Add sales tax item button.
Choose Sales Tax Item and then fill in the tax details.
Once done, you can now create an invoice and include sales tax on the transaction, then follow these steps:
In the Customers menu, select Create Invoices.
Add items and transaction details.
In the Tax drop-down list, select the tax name, which has a rate of 3.3125%.
Click Save & Close.
Well done! You've added the tax rate for this customer. You can then switch back to your preferred tax rate anytime when creating sales. Just see it below the sales form on the Tax drop-down list.
