Sales Tax collected and Sales Tax payable

In my Sales Tax payable one of my vendors is not listed this is the first time this has happened.  How do I fix this issue??

Let me help you sort this out, @Lawman_208.

 

To make sure I'm on the same page with you, is the vendor listed before in your Sales Tax payable but were missing? Or is the vendor not listed at all?

 

One possible reason you're missing one vendor from the Sales Tax Payable list is due to its status. Let's make sure that the vendor is set as active. Here's how:

  1. Click the Vendors menu.
  2. Choose the Vendor Center.
  3. Search for the name of the Vendor on the vendor's list. If you cannot find it, make sure to choose All Vendors
  4. Click on the Pencil icon.
  5. Ensure the Vendor is Inactive tick box is unchecked.
  6. Click Ok

If the vendor is still missing, let's re-sort your vendor's list

Sales tax payable only lists vendors that have been marked in the vendor record as being a sales tax agency.

 

edit the vendor record and on the additional info tab, insure that vendor type is set to tax agency
