I set up my sales tax agency but haven't seen or I missed the screen to set the actual tax rate.
Background/ Misc Info
I started my business on 9/1/16 but didn't start Quickbooks unitl 12/4/17. I set first month of fiscal year as January and First month of income tax year as the same.
1. I click on "TAXES" on the left.
2. The next "TAX HOME" screen shows my agency as:
Upcoming (the screen is faded out)
Missouri - $0 - October to December 2017 - accuring
3. I click sales tax settings
4. This screen shows:
Missouri Dpt of Revenue - Quarterly - October - 9/1/16
5. I click edit
6. The only options I'm offer is:
- Frequency / stat period / start date
I need to know how to go about setting my sales tax so it will figure it automatically on my invoices and record it in the correct accounts.
Thanks

Hello there, natasha,
I am here to help you to get this working and get back to business.
Once you set up sales tax, you'll need to make sure that the Tax box on the far right side of the Product/Service, has a check mark on it. In order for the sales tax to calculate. (Please see screenshot attached)
