Sales Tax is the sum of state rates plus local rates which may include city, or district rates. QuickBooks automatically calculate tax rate based on the location of sale or the ship-to address you add in an invoice or receipt.
Please know that for QuickBooks calculate the exact tax rate, make sure that the address you add in an invoice or receipt is correct and complete.
