In 2005 I placed a vehicle in service under schedule C. Now in 2020 I have that same vehicle but a different business and want to take the actual mileage deduction. However I used the actual expense deduction in 2005. Is there a way I can claim the actual mileage deduction for 2020? One way I thought I could get around this was to sell my vehicle to the business I own. Is this possible and how would I go about doing this?
