Anyone on here use shopify? If so whats the easiest way to log sales made on shopify in quickbooks for sales tax purposes? Do I need to enter each customer per a sale?
Hello there, @awdtsi98.
You can connect Shopify to QuickBooks Online (QBO). It allows you to export your sales and data that include line items and taxes that are automatically sent to your QuickBooks Online account.
This way, you don’t need to enter them manually. You can also put all of your Shopify sales into a single account if you choose.
You can directly access Shopify within your QBO account or to our App center. I’ll show you how:
You can contact their support for further assistance with the integration.
I also added a link for reference about managing your QuickBooks: Help articles. You select them each to view them.
I’ll be right here if you need more help.
Explore this 3rd party connector to integrate both of them
Use promocode QUICKB to get 20% off for 6 months
Then explore this app for your sales tax
Hope it helps.
We use Cloud9 to connect with Microsoft Remote Desktop and I want to make sure this will work when we move to Shopify soon so we can send a daily batch sales transaction from Shopify to QB. If anyone can confirm and explain this, I'd be so grateful!
Good day, @Alora Ambiance.
When you integrate Shopify with QuickBooks it'll automatically import your sales, order details, and inventory into QuickBooks.
Once you're ready to get started, you'll need to find which Shopify app you want to use. You can view our list of all QuickBooks apps that allow Shopify to connect with Intuit to find which one works best for you.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, let me know in the comments. Always around happy to help. Stay safe.
