Sync with Square Taxes Unassigned

I just started using Sync with Square for QB online. When the transactions are pulled in, it shows the correct Sales Tax amount, but leaves it as “Unassigned Tax from Square 0%” in the posted invoice. I have made sure the item in QB and Square sales tax are listed in the same way and assigned the sales tax code set up in QB to the Square Customer file. Any other suggestions so I don’t have to update each invoice imported?

Sync with Square Taxes Unassigned

Hello there, Gjcarrol1.

 

It will be defaulted to Unassigned Sales tax if there's no tax listed upon set up.

 

Here's how you can change it:

  1. Click Apps, then go to My Apps.
  2. Under Sync with Square, click Settings.
  3. In the Basic Settings row, click Edit.
  4. Click the Default sales tax code drop-down arrow, then choose a tax code.
  5. Click Changes, then Connect.
