Trying to print my 941 from 2017

Im trying to print my 3rd quarter 941 form from 2017, but every time i do it has the current year on the form. Is there a way to print it with the correct year on it? i did find the archived one and even that form has 2018 on the form.

Re: Trying to print my 941 from 2017

Hello there, @S4fastaudi.

The 941 form shows 2018 if you've already updated your payroll tax table.

If you need to print and file your 941 returns for Q3 2017, I suggest getting the 2017 form directly from the IRS.

Then, use the information on the tax form worksheet for the information you need.

Here's how:

  1. Go to your Employees menu.
  2. Select Payroll Tax Forms and W-2s, then Tax Form Worksheet in Excel.
  3. On the QuickBooks Tax Worksheets window, enter the date range on the From and To fields.

  4. Click Create Report.

I've also added this article to guide on how to make tax filings: Process, print, and save QuickBooks Desktop Payroll tax forms.

Should you need anything else, please let me know and I'd be glad to help.
